Taking the NHS home: The NHS in our houses

In this gallery, you can see some of the items produced for and by the NHS that have found their way into our homes and have stayed there. Many of them are very ordinary, barely seen items, part of our everyday lives. A few are historical, commemorative and clearly 'meaningful' to us. All speak to very particular moments in the history of the National Health Service, and its pervasive physical presence in all our homes. What does it mean to see the NHS in this private and personal space? Well, look around your home- and let us know!
