Take A Ride on the Magic Bus

Created by the Science Museum Brought to Life tool, this interactive 'tour' allows you to explore a Mass Miniature Radiography Unit as it would have looked in the 1940s and 1950s. It enables users to read pop-up information screens about the name of the service, the types of vans used, the necessity that the vans be climate-controlled as well as explaining the role of the operators and how privacy was provided to attendees. You can 'Take a ride on the magic bus' through this link: https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/broughttolife/themes/technologies/magic_bus (which includes a second option to explore an MRI bus from the 1980s and operated by the Charity CORDA).
