Swine flu poster, 2009

Produced by the NHS to combat this Swine Flu pandemic of 2009-2010, this poster returns to the immediate postwar focus on the catching germs in a tissue. It follows a similar pattern in both showing and telling how the need to prevent germs from spreading is a matter of individual responsibility. It combines a new 'catch it, bin it, kill it' slogan with a reinforcement of the continual need to maintain personal hygiene through hand washing.
